Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist and bestselling book author Frederik Obermaier speaks to iMEdD about the present and future of investigative journalism and the power of collaboration. Obermaier, along with his colleague Bastian Obermayer spearheaded the Panama Papers investigation. Highlighting the importance of investigative journalism, Obermaier warns that without it “there can be no healthy democracy”. The interview took place during the 2024 iMEdD International Journalism Forum in Athens.
