The first case of COVID-19 in Greece was detected on 26 February 2019. Since then, more than 29,500 people have lost their lives due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The first known case was detected in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and within a short time, it spread worldwide, leading to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The graph below lists the cases per 100,000 population per region of Greece. The visualization does not use data about cases, for which we do not know the geographical distribution.
