I. Introduction

At iMEdD Lab we use the cookies necessary to maintain the connection of users to our online services and to store user preferences with regard to optional cookies (“Necessary Cookies”).

With your consent we will use additional optional cookies in order to improve the performance and the content of iMEdD Lab (statistical cookies – performance cookies).

In addition, you, as users of the iMEdD Lab website and its applications may share its content on your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn social media and via e-mail. IMEdD Lab and iMEdD in general are not related to the installation and use of these cookies, nor do they collect relevant data.

II. Categories of cookies used in this website

A. The types of cookies used by this website can be classified into the following categories depending on how long they are stored:

  1. Session Cookies: Cookies stored on your terminal device during your visit on the website and deleted when you leave it.
  2. Persistent Cookies: Cookies that remain on the terminal device for a longer period (e.g. __cfduid, which remains in the memory for 30 days).

B. Depending on their holder, the types of cookies used by the website can be classified into the following categories:

  1. Own cookies: Cookies sent to the user’s terminal device by a computer or domain managed by iMEdD itself (e.g. we use the geo-2.2.1 cookie, which is related to the storage of geospatial data).
  2. Third party cookies: Cookies sent to the user’s terminal from a computer or domain managed by a third party (Google Analytics, Cloudfare, YouTube). For example, third parties such as Google Analytics may install Cookies (for sending statistical information through which iMEdD can statistically analyse access/visits to the website). When sharing, cookies are installed on the user’s terminal device exclusively by the above social media, whereas iMEdD Lab and iMEdD generally do not use cookies for this option.
